Lifting a pencil off a table : hard tasks made easy by our subconscious

Walking is normal to us, we do it without thinking, it takes care of itself. People who underwent trauma, sometimes have to relearn to do simple tasks that seemed uncomplicated before.
They realize how much time and effort a simple task, like lifting a pencil off a table requires when done consciously.
The sheer amount of data needed to do the simple act of picking up a pencil such as the weight of the pencil, the pressure applied, and the distance of the object from us, will overwhelm us, leaving us depleted, with no energy to engage in other tasks .
Trying to lift the pencil consciously is akin to trying to run our lives
solely relying on our cognitive abilities, thinking about every single detail.
Delegating tasks to our subconscious mind and trusting it to get them done, is the first step towards bringing success into our lives.
Our conscious mind could still be used for simple tasks such as calculating the sum of our next purchases.
The challenges is turning off our fidgety conscious brain after its tasks is done, before it starts rummaging through our past or peeking into the future.
