Faith and fear : At the antipodes of life

Faith and fear are always present within us, but the degree to which we lean on them in our life fluctuates based on our familiarity with the actions to be taken, our mood and our surroundings.
When we first engage in some endeavor, our faith in its success is not substantial.
As the activity becomes familiar to us, through practice and repetition, our "experimental" faith grows, and our comfort level increases with it. We become more relaxed.
What is challenging is to have faith regarding an outcome, when our brain doesn't have any proof of its success.
Spiritual faith is not based on experiences, it doesn't look for evidence, and it isn't the result of countless trials and errors. It just is. We just "decide" to have it, and we start acting based on that “decision”.
When we enter into that state, something unlocks within us, and we start seeing opportunities where none existed before. With time, our brain stops resisting and starts aligning itself with our newly found faith.
Our programming, as a result, changes through the cheer repetition of faith-based actions.
If we manage to cultivate an attitude that thrives on uncertainty, that goes against the tide, and perseveres for a long stretches of time without seeing any visible results, we are on the path that leads to greatness, our own greatness.
Whenever we introduce light, darkness vanishes, and whenever there is faith, fear walks away.
Fear and faith, like darkness and light, are the opposite sides of the same thing.
